This month, two speakers on Cultural Heritage Imaging came to campus as part of the Stanford Center for Image Systems Engineering Colloquium series.
On Wednesday, January 21 at 4:15 PM in Packard 101, Giacomo Chiari, former Chief Scientist of the Getty Conservation Institute, gave a talk on “Imaging Cultural Heritage”. More information here.
On Wednesday, January 28 at 4:15 PM in Packard 101, Tom Malzbender, a research scientist formerly at HP and now serving on the board of Cultural Heritage Imaging, gave a talk on “Capturing and Transforming Surface Reflectance: Imaging the Antikythera Mechanism.” More information here.
